Boston Rare Maps Incorporated specializes in important, rare and beautiful antique maps and views of New England and the Northeast.

Our broad selection of material is selected for its historical content, cartographic significance, and visual appeal. The offerings invariably include some of the earliest printed maps of the Northeast, important sea charts of the waters off New England and New York, rare maps of Boston and other New England towns, and Revolutionary War battle plans.

Boston Rare Maps was founded by Michael Buehler in 2002 and is based in Southampton, Massachusetts. For Michael antique maps are not only a business, but also the object of an abiding interest that he enjoys sharing with others: He is a regular public speaker and has appeared before members of the American Historic Print Collectors Society, the Boston Map Society, Historic Deerfield and numerous local historical societies.
